My husband and I hired Brendan Hickey to DJ our wedding in 2010. We wanted to make sure we had a DJ who would have the kind of outgoing and engaging personality to keep the party moving and we were certainly not disappointed! We didn’t have a huge crowd and like most weddings it can take the guests a while to get warmed up enough to get out on the dance floor, but Brendan noticed the need for some “encouragement” early on, before the party had a chance to fizzle out. He got our guests laughing, dancing, and having a great time by getting out there, leading dances, and getting the karaoke jam going! We were being complimented all through the evening about how fun our DJ was. He made not only my husband and I feel special, but our guests as well.
Brendan also does a great job of incorporating just the right kind of music into the event. He helped us pre-plan many of the song choices and took the time to understand who we are and what kind of party we were looking for. The music of a wedding and reception can really shape the memory of that day, and Brendan helped make sure ours was everything we wanted. He not only invested his energy before the event, but he put it all out there during the event and everyone fed off of the fun he was creating. If you’re looking for a DJ to just sit behind the booth and play music…don’t hire Brendan! But if you’re looking for someone to create a memory for you, call him immediately!!”

He was very professional from the moment my soon to be husband Patrick and I met with him. He was able to help make our wedding a musical dream come true. We both come from a family with a love for variety of music, and Brendan was able to make that happen for us on the day of our wedding.
Brendan was able to help us choose between songs that were dear to our hearts, when it came choosing songs for the father and daughter, and the mother and son dance. I also had a surprise for my soon to be husband as I walked down the aisle, I wanted to implement two singers that would sing to my husband from two of my favorite songs, and he was able to work with my two signers into order to create a heartfelt moment between the two of us while I walk down to the love of my life.
